Back in August when I was still authoring the Business and Blogging site (now by decision of the owners, b5media, an archive, not a live site), I wrote about the then new Business category in the Black Weblog Awards. I had learned about the awards from a post by prolific blogger Paula Neal Mooney.
In that post I linked to two sites in the Business category, Black in Business, “a blog for ordinary people wanting extraordinary success” by James D. Walton and Black Women in Europe, by Adrienne George.
Thanks to a link in a Twitter tweet by my friend Jim Turner, I have just discovered that Black in Business won both the most popular vote and the judges’ vote for the Business category and Black Women in Europe similarly won the popular and judges’ votes for the International category. See the Awards site for the listing of these and winners in other categories.
I know it was decided a couple of months ago, but better that I acknowledge their success late than never.
