Brisbane Breakfast Gathering to Focus on Social Media

I have a feeling that the Interactive Minds breakfast gathering next week in Brisbane, Australia will be one of those events you’ll either be glad to have attended or told you missed something special.

And that’s not just because I’m one of the speakers :) .

Interactive Minds has been established to provide to bring together Queensland entrepreneurs who have an interest in the Internet, digital marketing and interactive media.

The event next Wednesday focuses on Social Media in Practice.

I’ve posted about it earlier today on Des Walsh dot Com so won’t repeat what I said there. Suffice to say I believe we have reached a significant point in terms of awareness of social media and what that can mean for business.

As to the function, it looks like the race will be to the swift. An email I received an hour and a half ago said there has been terrific interest and at that point there were only 25 seats left.

I imagine there will be corporate types there and probably some from government. I’m hoping there’ll be a good representation too of the home based professional brigade. If you’re going to be there, please say g’day.

Wednesday, Feb 25th, 8 am – 10.30 am, Brisbane. Details here.
