Very Recently, there has been a good deal of inquiries by the
US Federal trade comission against bloggers and website developers
for not publishing advertising profits, or existing
connections with ad networks.

What are your ideas concerning how this could potentially hurt
the blogging community?

This is the first place I've heard about Wordle. I'm always searching for pictures, and as you said, it's time consuming. Thanks for the tip!

Perfect. I've just incorporated the first of what will be many word clouds in an otherwise boring presentation and Powerpoint. Especially good for those of us who want jazz but can otherwise only play one note.

Interesting suggestion about paying a web a web designer to make up a bunch of images and then re-using them "gain and again". One of the main reasons a lot of us use images is to help with search rankings. I've seen it argued persuasively that Google gives preference to fresh images over re-used ones. Also, and whether this is a good thing or not, bloggers I know love getting stuff without having to pay (and there is a lot around), although that might not be exactly music to the ears of web designers or graphic designers.
