Yana Gupta born is an Indian model-actress of Czech-origin currently working in India. Yana Gupta was born on April 23rd, 1979 in Brno. She has a natural beauty, enhanced by peaches and cream complexion, drop-dead gorgeous looks, a stunning figure, and a statuesque height of 5' 8" - ingredients that are guaranteed to sweep men completely off their feet.She was married to Indian painter Satyakam Gupta, although they formally separated on 18th May 2005. She has appeared on numerous magazine covers, including ELLE, Cosmopolitan, Femina, and now on Maxim. Gupta modeled for the premier Kingfisher's calendar and has performed dance numbers in three films including the remix of babuji zara dheere chalo.

Before her career in Bollywood, she modeled for international clients like Calvin Klein and Victoria's Secret. She drew much attention in Europe.Gupta made her big screen debut in the Bollywood movie "Dum" for the song 'Babuji' which made her famous for cameo item numbers. Her recent appearances have been in Tamil film cameo item numbers. She was named the new face for Lakme cosmetics in 2001, replacing its former model Lisa Ray. Besides her native Czech language, she can also speak Spanish, Japanese, English and some Hindi.

Yana first appeared on big screen to fame with the 'Bijli' number in Dum. She has done three music videos for Shail and Merlin and Jalwa. Although Yana Gupta has been getting acting offers from Bollywood, the stunning Czech beauty is sticking to what she does the best 'song and dance'. Director Sanjay Gupta has roped in Yana to do a hot sizzling item number in his forthcoming movie titled Musafir. Musafir, which stars Gupta's buddy Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Anil Kapoor, Mahesh Manjrekar and Priyanka Chopra, is about mature romance and will also have a little bit of exposure. She has shot for a song with Sanjay Dutt for Sunil Shetty's Rakth and currently has six item numbers in her kitty.
