Working in corporate health and safety for years I was amazed companies were allowed to supply laptop computers to staff and not address ergonomics. I saw an advert for Standit in 2004 and started recommending them to friends. As interest grew I became a reseller http://www.ergonomicrescue.com.au . Standit is a very simple solution to a problem which is still increasing. Anyone who uses a laptop computer for more than 45 minutes a day without an ergonomic stand is asking for trouble

I have seen these are they are a very inexpensive alternative to a docking station. In most cases, a person is unable to adjust the height or viewing distance of laptops & these devices really alleviate most of those problems.

Great blog. Very informative. I am always interested in how to network with home business people and educate about hand, wrist & elbow health. Would you be interested in doing a critique of my company's product, Handmaster Plus. It is a complete hand exercise system that maximizes performance & prevents injury. Would love to hear from you. Keep up the good work!

You're right that knowledge doesn't necessarily mean action. I know my own posture good certainly be improved at the computer. I'll have to fix that...someday. ;)

I don't use a notebook, so the stand isn't for me, but the puk always looked like a fun little ergonomic helper. :D
