Then there is the problem many people have with fishing - they use nets - and pull in so many ideas more than they can use, they have to throw thousands back.

Like an always-on brainstorm.

Great post! It made me think about how I've evolved from taking everything offered to politely throwing some things back. This has led me to use my time more wisely, meaning I make more, even though I might not be working as much.

Nice article, Des.

I think there's also an analogy that can be drawn with idea creation. When you are coming up with ideas for products or businesses the same philosophy applies.

Although you just as easily say that these are, in fact, business opportunities.....

Cheers,
Matt

http://reinkefaceslife.com/2007/08/17/fun-tagging-as-a-good-bit-of-friday-fun/

If you have some time for what I'll call "friday foolishness", there is a new meme going around to show some connectedness between bloggers.

Tag your it.

:-) Dumb but strangely reminiscent of childhood.

In building one's brand, you do have demonstrate a sense of fun. Right?
