
Clicked today on the Filtered site of Aussie blogger, Mark Jones, IT Editor of the Australian Financial Review - ‘the Fin’ as journo friends call it. Mark has just posted on a special report on the Internet which the Fin had brought out a couple of days ago. Writing about being interviewed on radio about the report, he comments on a call from a listener who was having trouble navigating the net:
Search engine companies are really only just getting moving with the search business. We’ve been fooled into thinking that just because Google has a nice clean homepage that the web is simple. In fact, it is hard to find content.
It’s good to see tech-savvy people acknowledging that ‘ease of use’ is a relative term.
