From the Blog Business Summit blog today I picked up Byron’s post Design Does Matter which for me raises some serious questions about the practicality of promoting RSS as the technological breakthrough that is radically changing marketing and other forms of communication.
He argues that RSS can be a complete waste of time and seriously questions its value for business.
I think we can expect to read more on this.
In the meantime, I’m pleased to record that I’ve achieved today what I set out to achieve, namely to tap into my RSS feeds to find things to blog about. This is part of my research to help answer the question of newbie or maybe bloggers, ‘but what will I write about?’.
My belief is that if you set up your RSS Reader or Bloglines or other way of checking out what’s happening on blogs you are interested in, you should never run out of things to blog about.
